Very patient and thorough. Takes the time to know who who are and seek as much information as possible before making any decisions. Friendly and easy to talk to.

Dr ArabShahi really tried to understand my condition. He didn’t set everything in stone and remained open to other diagnosis than ADHD, which somehow reassured me, as in a near past I had felt that I was diagnosed quickly and that other routes had not been explored properly, Dr ArahShahi is also gentle and patient, which is SO important when dealing with very sensitive people like me. Even though the time allocated wasn’t long, he didn’t compromise my comfort and remained in empathy with me while leading his assessment professionally.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. In every other medical setting I’ve felt extremely rushed, spoken over and pressured into being quiet prematurely or hardly listened to at all. I’m never given a chance to express myself, dig deeper than just answering questions superficially or feel safe enough to really accomplish anything. I know other people with ASD can relate so I was a nervous wreck going into this meeting fearing the same would happen. I’m delighted to say that was not the case here. Dr Babak Arabshahi made me feel safe, validated, appreciated and like I didn’t have to apologise or fight to be understood. I take a long time to organise my thoughts and get to the point but during my assessment, that was never made to feel like a weakness or an embarrassment. He’s the perfect person to open up to as someone with confidence issues and now ASD; the very picture of calm, kind and gentle in his approach and I couldn’t thank him enough.

Dr ArabShahi conducted my recent Autism assessment. I was very nervous about this but Dr ArabShahi was warm and friendly, and put me at ease very quickly. He was very thorough and professional, asked clear queations, listened attentively and gave me plenty of time to speak. His feedback and advice at the end of the assessment were thorough and very helpful. Overall, I cannot fault the service Dr ArabShahi provided and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone else seeking a Autism or ADHD assessment.
