Professor Sen is hands down the most kind, caring and professional Consultant I have ever met. I do not know how he has the time to listen to all his patients the way he listens to me. He makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world and that he and his team will do everything in their power to help you. I have a number of other conditions, which he seems to know just as much about as the actual doctors who I see about them. Though he never treads on their toes and always copies everyone in on all correspondence and is wonderful at providing an umbrella for all the different Consultants to work under, which is so important if your conditions are linked. He never rushes me and remembers everything we speak about from one appointment to the next. He will advocate on your behalf with your GP if necessary and explain all the latest treatments in very easy to understand terms. If you get referred to Professor Sen, you have hit the Consultant jackpot !!!

Should anyone be lucky enough to be referred to Professor Sen, please do not even think about saying no - regardless of travelling distance. You will be in the care of one of the world's best and most forward thinking Epilepsy specialists and, rarely in 2021, a gentleman who will actually listen and be genuinely interested in the patient. Consider yourself remarkably lucky - and DO sign up for any research work offered. It is the least anyone can do.

Absolutely fantastic and incredibly supportive. I attribute a lot of my academic success ( a degree in chemistry) to his help in controlling my epilepsy.

I have seen my Consultants over the years both in the private sector and in the NHS and I have to say Professor Sen is hands down the most outstanding man I have ever met. He is so knowledgeable and caring. He is an absolute credit to his profession. You always come away feeling you are in the best hands and have just spoken to someone who genuinely cares about you and is giving you the best and latest advice their is. He is also excellent at providing an umbrella service to oversee different consultants if you are seeing different doctors for related conditions. Amazing, caring and kind.

Dear Dr Sen, Dear everyone, I'm the aunt of a young patient which at this moment is under medical supervision of Dr Sen at JR Hospital. From the first second I sow him I was convinced that my sister's son has the best doctor/physician that a patient can have. He listen and answers to questions in a way that makes you feel much more than just a patient. The way he investigates/ examines his patient, just from toe till his head with the maximum of attention and care is admirable (in 16 years of R&D work I sow many doctors but not many like hem) . His warm voice and his friendly radiance I have not seen so aften. Dear Dr Sean you must be a great human which makes you a great doctor. Has been an honor to speak with you. Please take good care of my sister's son, he is her only child. With warmest/kindest regards and see you soon.
