Dr Stuart was responsive and thorough. He gave me both hormonal medication and a referral for an ultrasound scan for my frequent although not at the time acute urinary problem. The only problem I experienced was when the booking clerk at the Royal Free hospital overruled his referral for an ovary scan and only booked me for a urinary tract scan. It seems strange that a booking clerk can overrule a doctor.

Despite the very difficult times and increasing pressure of the last few years Dr Stuart seems to have kept his sense of who he is and what he values without becoming cynical. I respect him professionally and always leave appointments feeling that I have been heard and that he has done his best for me. He has also worked for many years in what seems a well organised, patient-friendly surgery for which he must have credit.
