Dr Montgomery was immediately personable yet professional with a firm, reassuring handshake. He asked clear, conscise questions and patiently listened to me when speaking. I am much more hopeful, following my ADHD diagnosis today, that there is a way for me to manage and navigate my way through life better.

I would strongly recommend Dr Montgomery, although i was initially nervous to speak to a professional regarding ADHD, Dr Montgomery really made me feel comfortable talking about what would otherwise been difficult topics. Having recieved an ADHD diagnosis has been a comforting experience, now knowing that we can work toward treating it. If you're reading these reviews to make up your mind if you want to book an apointment I'd really encourage you to :D

It was a great experience. I felt completely understood and heard. Dr Montgomery answered all my questions with clarity and patience and talked me through the medication options thoroughly. I feel confident going forward knowing this level of support is available during titration. I'd also feel comfortable recommending Dr Montgomery and Psychiatry UK, based upon my own good experiences.

I was very anxious about seeking an assessment for ADHD at my age (50's). I worried Andy may think I was wasting his time (as other health professionals I have seen have). Andy reassured this was definitely not the case. He took a detailed history of my life to date; particularly focusing on the impact ADHD has had on my relationships, career and daily functioning. He was compassionate, patient and understanding. Seeking help to gain greater understanding of myself and my life to date has, and continues to be, illuminating. I would say to those who feel they have consistently struggled in life due to possible mental health issues to seek an assessment as soon as you are able. It could be the positive starting point for the rest of your life.

Dr Montgomery instantly put me at ease, explained everything that we were going to talk about, what the structure of the conversation was and took any stigma out of any elements of our conversation. In what could have been a very difficult set of challenging topics of conversation, there was a gentle flow and a pace of discussion that suited me.
