I requested to see Dr Morley-Davies as a private patient after seeing his name listed on the POTSUK website. The waiting time for an appointment was over two months at the time I booked but I have absolutely no regrets, it was well worth the wait, the expense and travel. Dr Morley-Davies actually telephoned me the night before my appointment and offered a telephone consultation to save me the journey but I was happy to make the journey. During the consultation, Dr Morley-Davies took my history, took me seriously and imparted a huge amount of useful information. He is extremely knowledgeable and able to communicate this knowledge clearly. He dictated a letter to my GP whilst I was there. I'd recommend anyone seeing him to bring a pen and paper for notes and your list of questions which he gave several opportunities for me to ask. This initial consultation lasted an hour. I'd definitely recommend Dr Morley-Davies to anyone with Post Covid Dysautonomia or POTS who is seeking a definitive diagnosis. I attended my local NHS palpitation clinic a short while ago. They agreed with me regarding the probable diagnosis and they ordered some tests. However, there is an approximately 8 month wait for an appointment for one of these tests. I left the NHS palpitation clinic without medication until these are complete. Dr Morley-Davies, after reviewing my case, made a diagnosis (which is for further, more specific review after my tests) and requested my GP to prescribe medication and copied the palpitation clinician in to my letter.. I could not have hoped for a better outcome, I'm hoping medication will improve my quality of life. The prospect of having to potentially wait the better part of a year from the onset of this condition to gain any relief on the NHS felt frustrating. There are relatively few clinicians with knowledge and experience of dysautonomia and POTS so for me, seeking out a private specialist was absolutely worth it and Dr Morley-Davies was very reassuring.

Wow what can I say. I saw Dr Adrian Morley Davies whilst suffering with Long Covid and presenting with symptoms of PoTS. I couldn’t find anyone locally who would take me seriously so I saw Dr Davies privately. He took me seriously from the start and understood everything I was saying. He has a huge amount of knowledge of PoTS. After seeing him privately he asked my GP to transfer me to the NHS list. Anytime I have contacted him he has responded, even phoning late evening one time. Everything he has advised has so far worked. What I also like is he doesn’t fob you off or give you false promise. I feel lucky to be under his care and would thoroughly recommend him to anyone suffering with dysautonomnia. Top guy.

Dr Morley-Davies is a very knowledgable and friendly doctor. He is also one of the few doctors that knows a lot about POTS and acknowledges how much it can impact a patient's life. He is very helpful and he also dictates his letters whilst the patient is in the room which is good as that way you can tell exactly how well he has understood you or if he makes any errors about your symptoms etc then you can correct him on the spot. One thing I must say though is that it's sometimes hard to get a word in edgeways at the consultations as he talks A LOT and then when he finally stops and you want to ask questions he quickly gets up and opens the door to let you out. Overall though he is amazing at his job.
