My son was referred to Dr Gatrad as he has several problems, he listened to all of our concerns and dealt each with a positive solution in a polite and very highly professional manner. Since my son has been seeing Dr Gatrad he has improved and I would recommend Dr Gatrad to all family and friends.

Our child has been ill for a number of months and was progressivley getting worse. We had been seen by a number of health professionals prior to being seen by Dr Gatrad - GP, another consultant, doctors at A&E and felt that we had not been heard. The diagnosis from them was something that was easy but we did not feel that we had been given the time to discuss our childs symptoms properly and that I was made to feel that I was an over protective parent. Meanwhile, my child got more ill and more weak. When we saw Dr Gatrad, he listemed to me, assured me and diagnosed her illness straight away. He referred us to a specialist team as an urgent case the same day as promised. In doing so he has shown his true experience, caring nature and professionalism. I am grateful for having seen him and would highly recommend him.

We met Professor Gatrad when our son Alfie was just 3 months old and suffering with a severe head condition. He was the first person to talk to us openly and discuss the options clearly. He guided us sensitively and made a referral to a specialist unit. He personally made sure that steps were taken immediately to further assess and treat him, thereby giving him the best possible prospects for the future. It is clear that he genuinely cares about the wellbeing of his patients and we can not praise him highly enough.

Professer Gatrad put us all at ease straight away. He has a wonderful caring manner, he had time to listen to what our son & we had to say & gave good clear explainations of different things to try, treatments & procedures that may be offered . We did not feel rushed in any way . He is a very kind , professional & educated man .Our son josh thought he was lovely.
