Outside of the long waiting times which I understand because of the number of patients they receive, everything went smoothly.
I was generally anxious about the appointment however, Dr Theresa was very patient and understanding and was not dismissive like I feared.
The nurse who I also worked with, Sally was also very patient kind and prompt during the titration process even through the multiple medication changes and still not finding the right dose.
I am very happy with how it how it all worked out and I will recommend this service to anyone!

After years of being misdiagnosed and feeling like I was not being listened to, I finally got my ADHD diagnosis thanks to Psychiatry UK. The process was so much quicker than I could have ever hoped for, and I am now finally able to manage my ADHD for the first time in my life. I could not recommend the clinic enough! I felt like I was finally heard, and everyone working with me took great care in making sure they addressed every concern I had and found the best solutions for me.

Psychiatry-UK provide a great service, from arranging the first consultation to the titration, medication with secure delivery and a secure website (mfa). There is a lot of information and sections on the website when you first gain access to familiarise yourself with, however, it becomes pretty straight forward once the medication started. Every time an update is added to your file, you receive an email and sms. I would recommend this service and had no issues at all.

It is good after a few years of waiting to get the care that our son needed. The advice and support has been so beneficial, especially being able to chat to the titration nurse assigned to us, it was the same person all the way through. From start to finish, May 1st was our first meeting, and we completed titration early October.
I as a mother had the support I needed. I doubt it would have been so easy if I had to go via the GP from the start. Now it is all sorted it is good to know that the communication will be handed over to the GP, with full confidence that he is now on the right medication.

My experience with titration was extremely intense, however, my titration nurse Sarah Purchase was very attentive and prompt with her replies.
The option of calling is not preferred with this service, however, Sarah took the time to answer my questions when I was distressed concerning my medication.
It took two trials of different medications, but I can confidently say I am satisfied with the medication prescribed and the dosage.
I do feel like I am finally seeing the light out of a tunnel that has been pitch black my entire life.
Thank you to this service, I am very grateful.

Really great assessment done in a calm and friendly way with no pressure at all. The doctor was very friendly and approachable and made the whole process feel much more relaxed than I expected, which was a great relief.

I had a video call to discuss a possible ADHD diagnosis - the call was around 6am which was odd but fine. Overall I felt the call was cold and the doctor wasn’t really up for any kind of conversation - only half of the call time was used. I mentioned seeking an autism diagnosis on top of ADHD but he simply said i’d have to get a new referral. I left the call with a formal diagnosis but no further support other than a medication titration plan to be started in 6 months. I still feel as lost as when I started the process.
