I recently had surgery for a massive rotator cuff injury and needed many weeks of rehabilitation to get me back to normal strength. Serena was fantastic in helping me restore my flexibility and cuff movement with frequent physio and a great exercise regime. I trusted Serena from the very first appointment and she took great care ensuring I was always making progress. I would thoroughly recommend Serena to anyone who needs expert and caring 1-2-1 care.

I’d suffered from patella tendonitis for years with constant flare-ups throughout my years of playing football. As a 25 year old, very active and keen to continue playing, I started seeing Serena. Her knowledge and insight was fantastic right from the assessment and testing phase to judge where I was at - all the way to prescribing exercises and some minor lifestyle adjustments. I only needed a couple of sessions and through implementation of the techniques she showed me, the pain has dramatically reduced and I’m in a great position to manage my recovery and maintenance of tendon strength throughout the upcoming football season. Serena has been an absolute godsend for me. I was in a particularly fragile state both physically and emotionally at our first appointment but Serena went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and calm and not in any pain. She was extremely knowledgeable about my complex condition and she gave me confidence that there was light at the end of the tunnel! I have gained strength quickly by following her very specific plan and have throughly enjoyed using the reformer machines under her guidance. I trust her implicitly and know that I’m in good hands. I had a badly damaged and painful leg being unable to put any weight on it.This had occurred by my having followed a strenuous exercise routine being shown on the TV and I was certainly concerned I had done lasting damage. Having been seen by Mrs Serena Cooper at the Boxgrove Clinic for just 6 sessions I am now capable of using my leg again with no difficulty.This was achieved through her kindness and her professionalism as a Physiotherapist as she guided me through the various stages and exercises that led to my regaining full use of my leg. I am very grateful indeed to her and warmly recommend her to anyone needing similar help.

I had been on the NHS waiting list for an assessment on my shoulder following a dislocation for months (and still am!) but I have some limited insurance and put it to good use. Booking was easy and I had an appointment really quickly with a fantastic physiotherapist - Serena, who listened to me and assessed quickly. I began physio immediately and would say that after just 5 sessions the difference is dramatic! I'm still working towards my 'normal' but have every confidence that I'll get there with Serena's help. I have complete trust and faith in her. It helps that she's understanding and lovely!
