Jane is a physiotherapist with a masters degree in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has over 25 years clinical experience. She has a special interest in fascia and is one of only two therapists in the UK fully qualified as a Fascial Manipulation Specialist after training in Italy at the world renown Stecco Institute.
Three months after bilateral mastectomy with Dieppe reconstruction, I had hit the wall with my post op recovery. Regular post op physio had finished and my body had become ‘stuck’. My mobility was poor, my posture was a mess and I was pretty sleep deprived! I felt nobody really understood the physical effects on the body from this type of surgery. After four sessions Jane has completely turned me around. She advised right from the start that in order for me to heal, I needed a holistic approach to my body, I.e working on the whole body infrastructure through fascia manipulation. (Including all those historical wear and tear ‘niggles’) Her knowledge and intuition for what’s needed for your body is exceptional. She is passionate about the treatment and has a great bedside manner. I am now upright, I am walking better and I can now do my post op excercises. I can’t thank Jane enough and I would highly recommend her if you find yourself physically and mentally ‘disconnected’ after this type of surgery.

Jane is a fascia aficionado who appears to work magic in just a few visits. I am always amazed by how she finds the troublesome points working her way through them from the biggest to the smallest until the issue is resolved. Jane is clearly incredibly passionate about her work and is an undoubted expert in her field. If you live with chronic pain I highly suggest you book in with Jane today! She is a compassionate miracle worker and I can not recommend her highly enough.

After being bedridden for the best part of a year, I began to wake with pain and tightness below my ribs. Over the next 8 months, this pain became more frequent, intense, and lasting. My doctor presumed it was an issue with my gallbladder, although I had no other related symptoms. A conversation with my hairdresser alerted me to Jane’s ability after mentioning that Jane had resolved years of her pain after her appendectomy. Not knowing the actual cause of my pain and having a long wait for a scan with the NHS, I was curious to see if Jane could help. Forty-eight hours after one treatment, I woke up without pain and continue to do so, one month on! Equally profound, was the reduction in stress that accompanied the fear of not knowing what was wrong and the possible impending surgery.

Jane Haydon’s Physiotherapy specialist technique has helped me enormously, even after just one treatment. I have had an intermittent deep pain in my right sciatic region for several months. The pain trickles from my buttock into the front of the thigh down to my knee. The pain is exacerbated by walking, cooking (preparation of peeling potatoes etc.) and also impinged on my tennis games. Relief is manageable by sitting down for a few minutes. I know it is NOT sciatica as I have once had this excruciating experience. After a thorough examination and Fascial Physiotherapy treatment by Jane Haydon my symptoms have seriously abated. I have not yet experienced the intermittent pain despite walking, cooking and playing tennis. I will be straight back to Jane Haydon if symptoms recur. The Boxgrove team are brilliant. Jane Haydon and her gentle and thorough technique cannot be recommended highly enough by my positive experience. My G.P. is impressed by my improvement. I do not yet have a diagnosis. I am going to be followed up by the NHS in August. Sarah Bain

Jane very clearly explained her branch of facia work physiotherapist. She was very thorough in asking questions about past history and present reasons for attending the appointment. At every stage Jane explained what she was asking the patient to do and how she was going to work.Immediately even in the first session improvements could be felt but in view of long term injuries several more sessions were need because the nature of the work uncovered interacting factors which also needed treatment. I would highly recommend this type of physiotherapist and have been very grateful for a great in improvement in pain levels and mobility and in understanding how the body reacts and interacts.

I had been plagued by a post-running sore hip for a few weeks and had no joy with other physiotherapists. After booking with Jane, I am delighted to say that in only two sessions I was back to full strength. Not only did she take time to investigate the many possible causes, Jane also looked at my overall health and movement and treated me for my hip and all the associated tightness and strains. Jane is clever, charming, welcoming and a total genius at what she does, her combined expertise in physio and fascial manipulation is exceptional and has left me skipping with joy (physically and metaphorically). Thank you!

I had badly pulled my back putting together an IKEA bed for my daughter. Jane was recommended to me. In my first appointment she went through my entire history to find out if any other issues could have affected this issue, too. I had had pain around my hips and lower back for around 15 years. Jane freed up my pulled back in the first session, meaning I could walk properly again! After 3 more sessions of fascial manipulation my hips/lower back are pain free and I can sleep better! Jane has magic hands ... I would recommend her to anyone!

I had several appointments with Jane due to suffering with long term migraines and also neck and back mobility. Through Jane’s Facial Manipulation techniques my neck and back are so very much better. Most amazing of all is that for the last 4 months I have been migraine free, something I thought I would never say. I would highly recommend Jane without hesitation, she is a warm kind and caring lady with an amazing ability. Thank you for everything.

I would definitely recommend Jane Haydon as a physiotherapist but particularly with her expert knowledge on the fascia. I have had a tightness in my upper thoracic for many years which causes a cough and through her knowledge of the fascia, she has been able to release the stuck fascia and my symptoms have released. I have been to other practitioners in the past and no one has suggested it could be stuck fascia, so I am very grateful to have found Jane and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Jane is literally a 'miracle worker'. I would not be able to type this review were it not for her Stucco Method fascia release expertise. Over a period of four weeks she has cured tendonitis in my thumb, which was probably De Quervain disease and had been persisting for three months despite other interventions, using a splint and anti inflammatories etc Jane takes a very thorough and detailed approach but her professionalism doesn't mask her care and compassion. I really had given up all hope and thought a steroid injection was my only answer but Jane has saved me from that and in working on my fascia has started to unlock all sorts of other areas of my body. I will certainly be going back to see her.
