I want to acknowledge the way in which Nurse Georgie Salen dealt with my needs on April 14th. After a BCC removal at GWH on April 8th I was anxious to seek advice as the area operated on felt and looked as though it was infected, which I understand is not uncommon. Georgie saw me immediately as her 11:45 appointment had cancelled. She identified the potential infection, supplied me with new dressing and ordered Flucloxacillin and more dressings for me to collect the Well Chemist. I collected the tablets straight away with dressings to follow. As I needed to book in a stitches removal appointment she ensured this was booked in at reception for April 19. I found Georgie was a good listener, understood what I needed, efficient and professional in her role and got the ‘job done’ with minimum fuss. I was impressed. Richard Wiltshire
