There was very poor communication especially from the doctors. No one was able to tell me roughly when I will go to theatre and was left in bed NBM with no drip. I complained before I was given IV fluids later in the night.
got treated well and was on the ball.
Only thing is transport for people who dont live in Watford, help towards that would be much appreciated.
Good:
- Midwife who showed me how to hand express for my babies who were in SCBU
- SCBU care and staff are amazing
- Not sharing a room with other new moms, babies whilst I was separated from my babies.
-clean toilets/ bathroom
- Most staff/ nurses/ midwifes have been incredibly nice and supportive.
- the reclinable beds - great post c-section
Improve:
- pressure to go home after 2 days post c-section
- Some of the night staff were not very helpful, supportive with bringing my milk to SCBU (so painful)
I was made to feel relaxed and reassured as the nurse explained everything to me. The doctors were professional and answered my questions & concerns very well.
In view of the long waiting, a TV would be nice.
The care was very good it could not be change.
My care was very good. Staff was brilliant very caring.
