5.5 hours from arrival to leaving wasn't great. Staff were all working exceptionally hard. Can only assume there were not many staff in A&E that eve as it was less busy in the waiting room than our previous visit which took 3.5 hours.
All staff were caring, showed a high degree of empathy and understanding and treated me at all times with a high degree of respect.
Seen, treated and out within half an hour.

I was seen and x-rayed quickly but then waited for over an hour for follow up by A&E nurse who wanted me to be reviewed by the consultant before discharge. I then waited 3 hours for a consultant review but was never seen or spoken to by the consultant and was then discharged without knowing exactly what was wrong or possible solutions. I could have been discharged much sooner and been at home with my family
All the staff were kind informative and efficient,just needed more info re timing of my next blood test ,once I had that info it was all fine .
Staff seemed to be struggling with machinery that wasn't working especially on a busy night, time consuming for them .
Arrived in A&E 5.30 receptionists discussion about should I go to minors or A&E, held in A&E, 45 mins later Trilage nurse took me to minors another hour wait then saw a nurse ( no introduction or name) blood test taken told a 1 hour wait. 90 mins later nurse who took bloods advised she was going off shift and still waiting results for a possible blood clot waited a further 2 hours 30 minutes without any information. At 11.30pm I complained about the wait and Dr then went and found the results within 5 minutes test was negative and was offered follow up scans which I have declined as I have no confidence in the service this hospital is offering
Very well looked after treated with kindness and everything explained in detail with all my questions answered
The wait of 5 hours was unpleasant as I was being sick,I could not keep water down so for me and I am sure the people around me itvwas not pleasent. I was also very distressed on the other old people that were having to wait some longer than me. All the doctors and nurses I saw were very pleasent and understanding.
I have not always been happy with Warwick hospital in the past,and was worried about needing to go on Friday afternoon,I was expecting a very long wait and was hoping I would see happy and friendly staff ,as in the past i have not .
I had an excellent experience, From being able to park easily close to A and E .Then directed to minor injuries by friendly staff.Then treated extremely well by all staff very quickly,definitely a five star experience.its so nice to be able to tell friends and family how well I was treated,I won’t be so worried next time.Thanks to everyone.
