Nothing negative to say about the whole clinical experience, which was excellent. The staff are, without exception, very friendly, competent and informative. Just a word of advice for those going to the Exeter centre - allow plenty of time for parking!

I have recently had vein treatment and follow up treatment to both legs carried out by Dr Richard Guinness at the Exeter branch of Veincentre. Throughout my experience Dr Guinness made me feel at ease and answered every question that I asked which eased any fears that I had prior to my treatment. I feel that I received great care and consideration both from Dr Guinness and his assistants.

I was so pleased with the way I was treated by all the staff involved. I was nervous about the treatment but I was reassured every step of the way. The difference between the before and after pictures were fantastic, I was amazed by the difference straight away. The patient information was very helpful and answered ever question I had but both the surgeon and the nurses were very helpful and friendly. I’m so glad I went ahead with this!

Anne made me feel so welcome the minute I first entered the facility. She was totally up to speed and made every visit very pleasant and smooth. Emily was a dream of an assistant. She was so friendly and engaging. Her clear instructions and explanations were easy to understand. She showed a passion for her profession and she was extremely knowledgeable about all the procedures. She was so engaging and knew just how to make someone feel safe and calm. Dr Guinness was definitely the right choice for me. He was very professional and explained all the procedures in detail at my initial appointment This gave me a very good understanding of what to expect. Communication was excellent. I received my treatment plan very swiftly, and booking appointments was also very straight forward. Altogether, I had three treatments with Dr. Guinness. I was always made comfortable and felt looked after. I highly respect him for his work and I appreciated his stories and humour. Definitely two thumbs up.

I had a very positive experience at Vein Centre Exeter. From the moment I arrived and was greeted by Anne at reception I felt at ease. Mr McCarthy talked me through every aspect of the treatment, explained my options clearly and allowed me to make the decisions on the best way forward. The treatment itself was carried out seamlessly and recovery no problem at all. I am thrilled with the results achieved and have worn shorts with confidence for the first time in a decade.
