Excellent hospital, great caring nurses.
Overall lovely staff...who did their job well.
there was what I would describe as THE DISAPPEARING NURSE though...one particular individual, very jolly, who waved with enthusiasm and said they were looking after me that day ...promised to bring me a gown that fitted...but didn't.
I was told that I would be expected to leave wearing the special compression stockings but they never appeared either.
I was told around 11am that I would be leaving that day but the staff appear to change around so often..it was impossible to find anyone who would supervise the departure...so it was all a bit of a muddle....and not really satisfactory.
I felt that not enough time was given to gather oneself up to leave...
that one person might be allocated to supervise that everything necessary is covered...just felt rushed and unstructured.
I felt there was a lot of attention to detail, very gentle care and that staff were attentive.
Once I came round from the op, staff were very approachable and friendly , again with attention to detail.
I was impressed with the way all the staff worked alongside one another...willingly and without being asked, helped each other with a really good co-operative spirit.
Very positive atmosphere
Everyone in the CCU was absolutely fantastic. I felt reassured that I was receiving the best possible care for the short time that I was there.
they made it such a nice experience. always on-time, happy relaxing people, am so grateful for the whole experience

Treatment that ended on 22 Oct could not have been better
I was treated with great kindness and friendliness by all the staff. Everyone was very efficient and di their job calmly and in a timely fashion. I am very grateful for the brilliant job the staff at the Royal Marsden do for their patients at a time when patients are worried and scared. Thank you all very much.
Everyone I came into contact with was efficient, courteous, kindly and brisk. The 2 "not at all" selections are because neither question was relevant in my case.
Staff were available in the Radiotherapy Department to help with skin and could talk through treatment with a nurse on Friday mornings.
The nurses and Doctors I saw at the Rapid Diagnostic and Assessment Centre were so helpful and kind(Netty, Kal, Goscia, Simone, others) so that, although I obviously wasn't there for a wonderful reason, it was a pleasure to spend time with them. They were warm and friendly and there was a nice atmosphere at the clinic (plus it smelled nice !!) This was my second visit within weeks and Goscia and Simone even remembered me from the previous visit.
