I was extremely well cared for at PGH. The room facilities were good, including high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
I was given a number to call and personal contact for after care queries etc. I did need this and received helpful response and advice.
Since my operation, I have returned to PGH on six occasions over a period of 3 years for CT scans and blood tests and havecreceived a consistently high standard of care from the very pleasant staff.
There are no consultants , as they are away , on leave or gone away on holiday.
Have not had proper tests and swelling remains.
Absolutely terrible hospital, stay away if you value your life.
I was patient there in May 2017. The personnel were not knowledgeable. They make appointment that are not kept and they do not have adequate test facilities. This is a not a hospital with proper outpatient facilities. Accordingly, doctors there are aligned to request useless trivial tests that give no information. Avoid
The discharge procedure was quite bad. The consultant had not left notes on what medication I needed to take home and therefore it took very long before they could discharge.
on a constructive note, as a patient that had a travelled a long distance to be treated here, it would be so much better if there was a small shop or canteen to use as a patient
other than that every thing else was great
thank you
All the staff were friendly, efficient & caring. The nurses were very reassuring at all times & dealt with all my concerns. The support staff were also excellent. The hospital was very clean & well run. I would thoroughly recommend it
