The Harley Street ENT Clinic
21st July 2022
I have been so frustrated by my experience that in the end, I have decided to write a review.
I have come to the clinic several times to be seen by Dr Shaida since spring 2021, in the last few weeks particularly due to a hearing condition.
The service provided by the staff in reception and the appointment booking room (all of them) is always unhelpful, unfriendly and unwelcoming.
As patients that come here with issues and health problems I believe we deserve to be treated in a different and more humane way, especially considering the cost of each treatment. Bedside manner exists very little here.
The nurses on the treatment and audiology floors are a little bit more friendly, but still have a lot of room to improve in being more caring to patients.
As just one example my last ear treatment involved a 20-minute wait to be effective which involved laying quietly and still.
The Doctor and nurses disappeared for good and left work, being late afternoon. They left me raised on a treatment chair where I couldn’t get down without assistance.
Luckily another specialist came into that room to collect something and he kindly helped me get down. Completely unacceptable.
I am not questioning the doctor's knowledge and the treatments provided but the staff in the clinic including reception, booking team, nurses and docs need a training course on bedside manner, courtesy and customer relations.
