Good points:
- friendly receptionist and admin team
- short waiting time
Bad points:
- clinic run down, paint peeling off, old carpet, small corridors etc
- very old looking treatment equipment, chair very uncomfortable and without a cover (I hope it is being cleaned between patients!)
I went for wax removal. Dr Brookes was very rough when doing the procedure. I showed clear signs of discomfort (moaning etc) but he did not respond initially. I had to tell him explicitly that his intervention hurt a lot as he tried to remove wax when it had not softened enough. Dr Brookes then added drops again and waited a few minutes longer and it was much easier. Why not do this in the first place?
Dr Brookes did not show any empathy and did not explain matters well. I paid £490 in total for 20 min simple wax removal! I am sure one can get this cheaper somewhere else, in particular as the whole service experience was very unpleasant on top!
