ALL the staff that I encountered were extremely courteous, caring, helpful and well informed. The hospital facilities, medical and personal welfare, were of the highest standard and the treatment that I received during my stay was exemplary.

Most of the staff were very caring towards my mother. However one of the members of night staff was very brusque and unfriendly. This person's attitude resulted in my mother feeling reluctant to ask for care at night which is not a good position to be in following a TKR. As an outpatient the physiotherapist Sophie White was brilliant.

Very disappointed in this hospital on my last occasion. My records were lost twice, staff didn't react quickly enough when I became ill after surgery, and my worried family had to intervene. Some foreign staff were unable to communicate clearly. I feel that the hospital has grown too big, and the caring atmosphere I have previously enjoyed when I had occasion to stay there has been lost.
