My care at Sussex Premier Health was outstanding. I was listened to and supported when i needed to be and all the staff were polite.
I also had virtually a never ended supply of coffee which was brilliant!

Very well looked after while an inpatient and at follow up appointments by all staff - nurses, physio’s, medics, housekeeping and admin staff.

I had a total hip replacement at Sussex Premier Health funded by the NHS. I was very happy with my surgeon and all the staff including the physio therapists.

Nurses, duty doctors, ward staff and physios were exceptional. The level of care was superb.
My only complaint concerns the treatment if visitors. My wife could only visit in the evening. I was told that I could have visitors at any time. My wife's first visit went without a hitch, she arrived at 6.30pm and stayed for 90 minutes. The next evening she arrived at the same time and was asked if she had made an appointment. I was not, at anytime, told that appointments were necessary. My wife was made to feel very uncomfortable and was told that she must leave at 7.00pm.
If visiting rules exist, it is essential that they are made clear to staff and patients.
Other than this incident, I was always treated with respect and kindness.

The staff were really lovely friendly people and couldn’t have looked after me any better. Even in the middle of the night they were really helpful bringing me tea when I couldn’t sleep. Every single nurse was very polite and caring and friendly. My room was lovely and clean with a lovely private bathroom. This is the third joint replacement I have had done and stayed in the Spa hospital for all three. I could not have wished for better treatment. There was absolutely nothing I could fault them on. It was a first class stay.

Fantastic staff, caring considerate who go above and beyond to make sure you are cared for. I have had treatment both as a private and a NHS patient and on every occasion I have been impressed with the high level of care. From the reception staff, nursing staff, theatre staff and doctors everyone is kind and friendly who treat you with dignity and care.
