My friend was upset in the evening after her partner had to leave a little early so |I came back up to be with her and the midwives and staff let me stay until she was happy again. Lovely staff and very understanding.

I felt that I always had the opportunity to have someone help me as soon as I needed it. Specifically Rachel (health worker) was fantastic. Very patient and made me feel safe.

Brilliant, everyone really helpful while allowing us time & space to bond with our baby. Nothing to be improved regarding care etc. Amazing stay. Thank you. Have own parking!!!

Stroud maternity hospital is incredible. I can not thank the staff enough for their friendly support and expert knowledge. They gave me confidence in breastfeeding and care of my daughter. The atmosphere and opportunity to meet other new parents was excellent. Particular thanks to the wonderfully knowledgeable and welcoming Tracey Browning. CQC please note this place is Outstanding!

Cannot fault the outstanding care given to my wife and daughter during their time in SMH without the opportunity to rest and spend time working on feeding, I'm sure with how found ourselves in a very different situation. I've been amazed by the patience, dedication and respect sown by all here. Thank you. We're so lucky to have such an outstanding facility in such a calm and peaceful setting.

-Incredibly supportive. -Relaxed environment. -Chance ad encouragement to mix with other new mother. -Staff had time to spend with us- kept informed and reassured.

Friendly midwives, always had time for me, no matter what I wanted. Only issue I found was that I had to wait sometimes for pain relief (paracetamol and Ibuprofen) until some one else who could give it to me; was around.

The care here has been amazing. People have had the ability to properly dedicate there time to me at what was a very stressful time for me. It has also felt like a home from home! So I felt very comfortable and could received as little or much care as I needed.
