I first attended HASU cia AW on a Sunday having experienced an episode of TIA. I was looked after there the same night before being discharged to following day. This was repeated on the following Thursday when I had recurrence of the TIA.
The treatment that I received was of the highest order. There was an air confidence and efficiency around the whole department. From the receptionist, nurses and doctors I received the greatest dignity and respect. I was kept informed at all times regarding the treatment and results of tests that were being performed. The department was very clean and tidy. The caring, professional and compassionate treatment that I received was first class. The department is a credit to Ashford and St Peter's hospitals. NHS foundation trust and the NHS as a whole, thank you for making what could have been a harrowing experience very acceptable.
