I am a frequent visitor to the skin clinic at St Marys and the staff there are unfailingly kind,cheerful and completely professional, inspiring confidence in your treatment.

I was kept waiting longer than I expected, but this was apparently due to a computer glitch. This was explained, without my asking and was apologised more than once.

I saw Dr Heaton (Dermatologist) and Zoe, about a mole that had grown and gone black. I was impressed that they checked all my moles on my body and acted extremely swiftly in getting the mole removed. Zoe was lovely and kept me distracted well throughout the surgery talking to me. I was very relieved to have the mole removed so quickly. The hospital feels safe and is constantly cleaned, with good procedures in place. I would recommend anyone to get any suspicious moles checked asap. Luckily my dentist recommended I got my mole checked and I am so glad I did.

My appointment was on time and I was met by friendly, courteous reception before being examined by excellent medical staff. The environment is clean and airy and there was adequate car parking space on the afternoon I was there.

Chris Heaton and colleagues in Dermatology gave exemplary service, courteous, informative and effective treatment. The consultation was at the appointed time and precise self aftercare explained in detail.

I was seen by Dr C Heaton and his assistant Nurse Natalie. Waiting time was minimal and the waiting areas well managed in view of Covid difficulties. Both Dr Heaton and Nurse Natalie were very pleasant and helpful and exercised great consideration.
All the alternatives available for my treatment were made clear by Dr Heaton and the possible outcome. I felt quite relaxed and knew that I was in good hands.
Overall assessment - EXCELLENT!

I was treated by Chris Heaton and Natalie. Timing was very good together with clear explanation and actions I need to take following the treatment. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to arrange treatment at St Mary's.

Warm caring reception by all the staff here. I was seen by Chris Heston and Sister Sue who couldn’t have been more helpful. Chris Heston made a clear prompt diagnosis and was able to immediately, without fuss, do an excision biopsy. Sister Sue was also excellent - just the right amount of care and friendliness to make me feel at ease. Thanks to you both.
