I chose to visit this hospital for to see a GP, as my NHS surgery had not seen me for a face to face appointment following surgery I had 6 months ago. Paying for this service was the best decision I could have made. The appointment was on time, the GP have me more than my allocated time, I was listened to and offered advice and solutions not even hinted at by my NHS Doctor. The Reception staff were warm, friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hospital.

It is not clear how well read this site it however I post anyway. Leaving the surgery on one side I consider infection control at this hospital poor. When you enter the facility there is, should you see it, a single push down dispenser. As you go to the private wing there are no further proper hand dispensers until you enter the room where again it is merely by the en suite inside the room. Why is it not outside, why are there not wall mounted dispensers as you enter the long passageway to the wing? Whilst en suite was cleaned daily the rest of the room was not touched with even floor cleaning tools during entirety of the four days. Even QA produce a better standard. Not impressed and would not go back again rather go to Nuffield.

From the moment I walked into Spire I was treated so well. Each person greeted me by name and told me theirs. My room was spotless and so comfortable and even had its own entertainment in the form of a peacock. The staff were all incredible helpful and kind. I had a bit of trouble before the operation and my tears were met with kind words and a squeeze of my hand, exactly what I needed. After the operation I was never on my own until my partner arrived. When I needed more pain medication it arrived promptly. The food was delicious and fresh even at 9.30 at night. The man who pushed my wheel chair to the car was such a gentleman, I felt so looked after and so safe. I would recommend Spire to anyone.
