I needed to see a psychiatrist following discharge from hospital when I was having trouble sleeping and only receiving 2-3 hours sleep a night. I was first told I could see a psychiatrist in 3 weeks, then 2 weeks later I was told it would be 8 weeks and then a week later my care co-ordinator told me " how long is a piece of string." I was given misleading instructions about driving, being told it was up to me if I inform the DVLS. After the next meeting with my care coordinator I was told I must informa the DVLA and I was forbidden to drive. In the end I have had to seek a private psychiatrist at considerable expense to myself, in order to improve.
No one listerns to me anymore.
I was really impressed the two nurses who came were incredibly thorough and engaging. With other services it can be very hit and miss, but I was very pleased.
I was treated well, listened to and given empathy. A lot of information was provided. I found it helpful.
very well supported and listened too.

[name removed] has been really attentive and very caring. Has really helped me in a low mood and given lots of constructive advice. She has helped and I look forward to seeing her again.
Don’t feel listened to - have to state every year that I can’t possibly be pregnant due to chemo induced menopause - this is extremely triggering as I wanted more children
