It’s the truth that’s the reason for my answer, the staff, doctors were all professionals and wonderful. First and foremost I thank and praise the almighty Allah and a special thanks to all the staff and doctors for taking care of me.

The sister in charge Tanya was rude and patronising, she was annoyed by any question asked to her by any patient. I went to ask her what was my plan of care and what I was waiting for. She asked me to go back to my bay and she would have come, with a very annoyed tone of voice. When I managed to speak to her, I said that the consultant had planned for me a cardiologist review in A&E and I asked if there was any update, she replied that they don't have time to chase the doctors. An elderly man, very weak, near my bed was trying to stand up, she noticed that and treated him in a very disrespectful manner, put him back in the bed and asking her colleagues to get a bottle to pass urine as the man wanted to use the toilet. She didn't ask him what he needed. The man had to open his bowel, not pass urine, but she wasn't listening to him. He started to cry and asked her 'why are you so nasty to me?' Terrible example of care, a nurse in charge should lead by example. Sister Beth the night before, was busy too, but always treated patients with respect.

Suggested improvements
Listening to patients as we are in a vulnerable position. Treat them with respect.

I had a very long wait of 16 hours however despite that it was a positive experience with a good outcome of being admitted and treated for my condition.

Suggested improvements
Whilst in A&E drinks sandwiches and snacks were brought round which was essential as there was a long wait to see doctors

Had been in an ambulance but hadn't walked into A&E for a while.Although understandably there for a long time found the environment nicer with more comfortable chairs than previously, teas and coffees available and a very friendly atmosphere.Don't have a chronic condition but do have a heart condition.

Suggested improvements
So busy that don't think anything could have been done better

My wounds were not checked upon arrival in A&E. Even before I was discharge, my wounds were not inspected nor the dressing was changed. If I did not request for a dressing change, it will not be done.

Suggested improvements
Improve your quality care by regularly checking your patients' feelings or checking them if they are doing alright.

I am a cancer patient , i had a red card which didn’t do any good! My tongue was swollen because of my chemo and steroid, i waited to be served in 2 hrs and by the third hour my blood test was done and was asked to wait for the results for 2-3 hrs , i could not sit and wait and feel more sick for 2-3 hours so i left for home , and got a call at 10:30 which i missed. You can’t expect a cancer patient to be sitting in a room for 3 hours with a room full of a sick ppl

Suggested improvements
A&E means emergency and not a airport lounge, things needs to be fast!

Stuck in corridor for hours on end with no pain relief. No way to get help as majors b team hiding behind door. Lack of communication all round n only few nurses gave information. The doctor who treated me didnt answer questions correctly n was very vauge on what was wrong with me. Bad system set up to deal with patcients. Having people sitting on hard chairs in pain for hours on end isnt good. I dread having to go back to emergency if it is like how it was.

Suggested improvements
Get rid of majors b n get them all working in one emergency room , where no patcient is left in pain for hours on hard chairs.n get all paper work done in a timely mannor as i left with no discharge papers.

Everyone was fantastic I just hated the disrespect they were getting by other patients even though there is nothing they can do about the current situation. I would refuse treatment for anyone who shows disrespect
