Took too long even for triage service, had a reasonable sickle cell protocol

At the triage stage I was given an ecg and blood test. When I was at A&E when I asked a nurse how long I would be waiting she said that I would be having another ecg. This was incorrect as soon as I saw a doctor he looked at my ecg and blood test and discharged me. I

In terms of doing things better if my blood tests and ecg could have been sent fire try to adoctor to review, which took less than a minute, i could have been out an hour earlier savi g the hospital and me Time

It was often a comment as they werr walkinv past, not coming to me in person. A nurse seemed unhappy and impstient when she had to clean me.

I was seen to quickly medically. During my visit i was only given 2 drinks and i wsx there from 9.30 a.m.till 7 pm

Appointments were running 1.5hrs late and the staff did inform us of that.

Suggested improvements
It appears that too many appointments are given for each day as the staff & Dr’s were running around trying to get everyone seen. My appointment was over an hour and a half late and this was the reason given to me.

I loved the care that everyone gave me. Very personal and took care of me. I felt safe and cared for by everyone fright from each nurse, dinner ladies and occupational therapy

Suggested improvements
The only issue i found is the doctors. They are all patronising towards the patients. They look fake towards their care to patients. I would give the doctors 5/10. They have no time to talk to patients

Waited 18 hrs to been seen my the doctor.Up there all night.
