The diagnose of my condition took close to 11 hours. In general the staff were Friendly and helpful. However, I met with three clinicians, each asked if had any medication allergies to which I replied yes Penicillin in all three cases. Finally, I was released with a prescription and the next morning my Wife took my prescription to the Pharmacy. After handing over the prescription to the pharmacists looked puzzled and said to my wife, we have your Husband registered as allergic to Penicillin, to which she said yes he is allergic to Penicillin. The prescription written by Queens was for a Penicillin based medication. We then had to book an appointment with my GP and explain the situation who eventually wrote a prescription for Doxycycline..This error could have presented a serious health issue if not fatal for me if the pharmaceutical staff had not spotted the error.
You just get moved to a different part of the hospital and left there
U then have to ask whats going on.
I was left at the xray department for an hour and then had to ask how long it was going to be.
I was then moved back to majors B for another 4 hours.
Again I had to ask what was going on
On attending my appointment I was made to feel very comfortable thevwait time was minimal and the staff, nurses and doctors were excellent.. thank is what you expect when you attend any hospital great service.
Friendly and polite reception and HCAs. Dr was great communicator and discussed treatment options and listened to my questions.
Everybody has been fantastic today. I felt very comfortable and confident.

Just the best.
Very good experience.
Was sent an information sheet to fill in was not asked about tools all my medication again was not asked for that information .Had a phone call in the morning about a steroid injection the person who called didn’t know when that was done .Was not seen by the consultant on the letter and was told I needed an MRI scan which would take at least 3 months .Was not allowed to see my X Rays to see where the problem was and said it wasn’t necessarily my hip it could be my back .Why have I paid my full stamp and worked all my life for is a disgrace
Was in a& e (rafting)for over 12 hours ( overnight )8 of which I was dumped in the corridor outside, managed to see a doctor after 4 hours only after my wife asked for pain relief for me, waited 8 long hours to be seen again , obviously by a different doctor as the first one had gone home.
I was seen promptly and was dealt with professionally.
Unfortunately I was told that I had not had a stroke and was not referred to TIA.
The following day I was admitted to Medway hospital. Then my GP on Wednesday.
I was then referred to TIA Maidstone hospital on the Friday and they said I definitely had a stroke and put me on immediate medication.
I am now on TIA’s “ virtual ward”.
