All care and communication were excellent and, in spite of great { } and on staff, they gave their best to help me. This includes catering, cleaning etc.

Review of Children & Young People’s Assessment Unit (CYPAU)

Everyone from HCA's, play receptionists, doctors and nurses were very kind to me very friendly. I was scared before my surgery but everyone made me feel safe. The nurses looked after me when I come back from surgery and helped me manage my pain. The play specialist also gave me toys and a TV to watch.

Suggested improvements
As a parent spending 2 nights on CYPAU the only suggestion I would make is to provide parents with a bed/sofa bed to make the stay a bit easier. Apart from that the staff have been amazing and I am very happy my child had a good experience here. :)

I felt the staff, doctors and nurses knew their work inside out so I was happy to do my best to comply. What a lovely building too.
