Review of NICU
7th April 2024
Overall staff are lovely and give me the answers to questions that arise. Staff made us feel out ease and comfortable. Sarah, Evelyn and Patricia I have been amazing!
Suggested improvements
- Would be good to have the same nurse for several days if they are working. They know your baby better and helps babies progress.
- Do not like the water dispenser in SCUBUZ, allows many people near baby.

Review of NICU

My child was very well looked after.
Suggested improvements
On the second day my child was in NICU a routine head scan was ordered, at our discharge meeting 2 weeks later it hadn’t been competed this delayed our discharge by 24 hours.

Just incredibly grateful to be checked over when I have been feeling unsure about my sensations.

Last doctor seemed a little rushed. It's my first pregnancy and at 18 weeks I have only seen my midwife once. So I would have liked my last doctor to be as free with her time as the first one was. None the less grateful to have access to this service. Thank you for your work! What the ultrasound doctor told me was different to what the discharge doctor told me so that had ma a little confused.

My first night I was in a corridor and all my medicines was admitted late so I kept getting worse than better. When was moved to Iris ward I did not have medication for 6.5 hours. But my last two nurses have been really attentive.
