During my first period of stay the ward staff were friendly worked but they cope with the situation extremely well.

The nurses are very kind and compassionate. Did not see enough of the Drs some more detailed information would have been helpful about my medical condition and what to expect. When I first came out of surgery, no dr came to see me or my family to let us know how the operation went until my husband argued with a nurse to get a dr to come up to ward to provide an update which is pretty poor. Excellent care from Lyndsey, Jenny and Geema.

Most of the nurses were very attentive and helpful.
The therapists have been very supportive and helpful.
I was given no medication after my first stroke, which might have prevented the second.
Some doctors treat you as a number and I feel I was sent home too early.

A lot of confusion, and told several different things from different doctors! Need more consistently and communication. Best nurses were Helena and Vicky on Cornflour B! They were so helpful and caring.
