Midwife Gemma Osborne was amazing made us feel so calm and reassured.
Facilities were amazing.
Food at breakfast poor, no drink with lunch.
Nice balance of privacy and care.

The care and treatment by the staff cant be faulted. The issue and its a big issue is the utterly poor communication given to the patient and immediate family. So far at the point of writing this I have 3 days of not being informed sufficiently to arrange care for my daughter or be able to make informed decisions on whether I stay at the hospital or go home. The picture painted by the staff, I understand to has be cautioned but not having any facility for partners to stay overnight. I wouldn't even mind if it was a mattress on the floor. There is no accommodation close by either. Something needs adjusting or provision needs to be made.

- The nurses - Gwen and Beth were amazing. Informative, approachable, friendly and supportive.
- Very reassuring.
- The paediatrician from A and E visited us on the ward to provide for. Information and check we were okay. We really appreciated this as it was a chance to digest what we had been told and ask questions.
