Review of Bereavement Support
13th May 2024

I found my counsellor very easy to trust and to get along with. I cried and laughed at the same time. The counselling has helped me massively and I feel much better equipped to move forward and to cope with the feelings associated with the loss of both of my parents and life in general. I’ve learnt lots about myself too through the counselling process.

Suggested improvements
Nothing at all.

Lisa has helped me to understand my feelings and helped me to find ways of dealing with my thoughts and emotions.

Suggested improvements
The only thing I can think is the waiting time to start the course of counselling could have been less ,I imagine it’s maybe due to funding.

So far only one night nurse available although I would like one every night. However the one night nurse was available was very reassuring.

Suggested improvements
I wish you had enough staff to provide care every night from because my wife is deaf and disabled.
