I recently had spinal surgery at NPT hospital and had the very best of care from all the staff, both nursing and ancillary care while I was on ward B2. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and it was a privilege to be in their capable hands.

I have recently attended the hospital for a discectomy back operation under Mr BG Boreham. I would like to thank Mr Boreham and the operation team for their professionalism and care, and for giving me once again the pain free mobility I was used to prior to my back issue. The care at ward B2 was second to none, all of the staff from the cleaners, catering, nurses, physio and all the doctors were friendly and caring, nothing was to much trouble. A very professional team and a credit to the hospital which made a potentially uncomfortable experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Thank you.

I went into hospital on November 2 to undergo a spinal operation Ms Iona Collins was extremely caring as were all the hospital staff on the ward. Everything went smoothly wards were exceptionally clean and I felt totally safe especially as covid 19 restrictions were in place would be totally confident to go back into this hospital under these restrictions

I had a Discectomy operation in Neath/Port Talbot hospital on November 23rd 2020 under the brilliant surgeon Miss Iona Collins and her specialist spinal team. Can’t thank everyone enough through the Green Passway Uber Miss Collins. Neath/Port Talbot hospital is excellent the care I had there for my short stay was fantastic I was in ward B2 it was like a new hotel the nurses and staff were amazing. Cleaners were doing a fantastic job under these testing times. Nothing was to much for them they cleaned my room every few hours. If I was a patient waiting to go for treatment in Neath/Port Talbot hospital I wouldn’t hesitate your in safe hands in these testing times. And I like to thank Miss Iona Collins again for making my life happy and pain free again. They deserve all the credit in the world for the job they are doing in these testing times. Simply amazing NHS

I visited the ‘Local Accident centre’ at the Hospital.I found all the staff within the department to be professional and efficient. The Nursing staff were knowledgeable and explained everything to me. I was seen quickly and I felt safe due to the measures that were in place due to covid-19. However I found one lady on the reception desk quite rude in her manner, bearing in mind this is the first person that patients will see I think this should be addressed.I think it is vital that they are ‘welcoming in their manner’, especially as patients arrive on occasions feeling vulnerable and anxious. I also had to shout whilst booking in due to masks and the glass screen across reception. As much as I totally understand this is necessary. I think something could be out in place to not make it necessary for patients to have to ‘shout’ in a waiting room the nature of their injuries, home address and telephone number etc. Many thanks

More like a clinic than a promised hospital that we will still be paying for in 25 yrs time. Nice cafe because if you are attending to give blood samples, take a number and then wait, wait and wait again. In fact do they even bother looking at the samples, because I know of lots of people where the bloods came back 'clear' to find weeks later they were seriously ill? Rubbish service and a rubbish hospital.

Excellent treatment. I had an appointment at the antenatal clinic on 31/1/2020 for a scan and hysteroscopy. Extremely efficient and caring staff from the receptionist on arrival to all other staff. All were caring, compassionate, competent and communicated every minor detail to make me feel at ease. A polyp was removed in seconds and I felt no pain. Outstanding treatment from all staff I had interactions with that morning. Thank you .
