Did not answer 'better self-manage' as I am doing pretty good prior to the appointment so nothing has changed. Staff were friendly and did ask for consent. Unfortunately I wasn't too keen on taking my bag off and Louise went on accordingly. She was polite, friendly, and just a very kind person.

While it's something you can't change, the location is horrible!

Louise was very professional but also very friendly when talking to me about my condition, I didn't feel uncomfortable when discussing the stoma I had at all. I sometimes feel nervous about showing my scars when it comes to inspection of the skin surrounding the stoma but it was fine. Louise offered to bring some stoma bags and supplies on hand but I brought some with me so there was no issue. We also talked about my history with the stoma and also different stoma rings to use that would be more effectual. She also informed me that I had a hernia (which I knew about, but she showed observation to this) and also that I could have a support belt proscribed (which I didn't know about, but welcome nevertheless!)

Suggested improvements
I can't really think of anything other than a slight wait at reception but the staff lead me to the room to see the nurse from reception as well as the exit when all was finished, so no problems here :)

Always been happy with face to face consultation. But over the phone its just a total waste of time and expense, and has been since nams took over the ordering system. Hopefully now Andy has requested me to email him when a problem arisers in favor then the phone will improve matters.

Cannot fault our nurse today. She was kind, patient and informative. The issue regarding wearing clothes I want is because I do not feel confident to since my operation.
