They didn't dismiss our concerns and checked our boy and what he has is likely transitory, though could have been more but we were reassured and given sensible follow up to ensure it is transitory without having to go to A and E again.

Was told on the phone (III call back) that I had an appointment for my son, on arrival was told of a 2 1/2 hr wait. Surely this should be warned of before and the word "appointment" should not be used! If it was for me and not for my sick child, I wouldn't have bothered waiting. It is 10.30 pm now, by the time he gets seen and gets his prescription there will be nowhere left open to get it until tomorrow.

As all A and E, the nurses looked quite under pressure but they were very good and attended to my husband promptly. I am satisfied with the care my husband received. The nurse who looked after him was fabulous. very good communication skills and very professional.
