The toilets on my numerous visits have always been unacceptably dirty. The staff at Orthodpaedic reception vary, but mostly very cold. The nurses and consultants have mostly been wonderful but worst of all is the switchboard, and the computer system. I was given a quicker appointment which I desperately needed and never received the letter, then I was sent a letter discharging me because I didn't attend an apointment I had never been told about. Such a waste of resources and time and it was so stressful phoning up to "prove my innocence". No-one believed me until one lovely guy actually tried to help me and could see on the computer that indeed "no letter had been issued" to me regarding my changed appointment. So there improvements to be made.

Mr. Wijeyekoon is an excellent doctor. He made me feel at ease and very comfortable when i was talking to him. If this doctor ever had to operate on me I would trust him with my life. He answered all my questions and ensured that i understood everything he was telling me. He is a very caring doctor and he actually listens to what you are telling him and does not hurry you out the door. Lovely caring man.

Staff were excellent and keep me updated about my procedure. I had to change the date of my surgery a couple of times and this created no issues.

I think Homerton is an excellent hospital and there's nothing bad I can say about it as all the nurses and doctors that have seen me were really helpful and made me feel comfortable.

I attended Homerton Hospital A&E on christmas day when my son had an Asthma attack. The service we recieved was excellent, very prompt service by nursing and medical staff who were fantastic. Treatment was initialted straight away and we were in and treated within no time. Thank you particularly to the practitioner/ sister who saw us and the doctor on duty
