My mum was pushed and pulled around this hospital for hours, getting worse and worse. The A and E department is the worst I have ever been too, many other patients waiting felt the same and many complained. The staff of the A and E department literally in my opinion neglected her.
The only saving grace was when she actually got to a ward (12 or so hours later) the staff on the ward were brilliant and saw how ill she was and took some ownership of her care. As for the A and E, I can appreciate they may be understaffed these days, but there was no management, order or compassion from anyone we saw there.
