I recently went through the process of treating a possible cancer growth in my breast. From referral to biopsy the whole experience was outstanding. Out patient staff were kind and very respectful. Xray staff were kind and treated me with empathy and dignity. I have had several visits to east Surrey hospital and wouldn't go anywhere else

Another bodge job from East Surrey, leaving me in agony and not respecting my wishes with regards to my mental health. Dressing left in my stomach after surgery all out fiasco, staff don't give a toss as long as you are quiet and play the game!! Seen a poor girl in bay opposite me starved 3 times in a row for her operation to be cancelled 3 times East Surrey Hospital need to get their act together

Mr khemine in ent was fantastic, and the nurse David was fantastic as well couldn't ask for better service.

The day unit was ok, the staff were very nice. The only thing was that there was no provision for gluten free food post surgery. It would have been better to have a choice. But the staff were very kind and I thought the follow up phone call the next day was very very good.

My hernia operation was postponed four times. The third time I was booked in on a Sunday. The surgeon decided, rightly, at the last minute that the operation could not proceed as there was no back up provision to turn off my ICD. Because of the many months of delay I had to revisit to have the pre operation assessment done again. The root cause of the problem does seem to be that the operation scheduling staff do not read the patients notes. Fortunate!y I am retired but to a working man all these changes would have been totally unacceptable. The cost to the NHS by these delays must be enormous and the effect on staff morale can't be helpful.

Attended east Surrey A/E last night I would like to say the treatment I received was 5 star I waited 15 mins tobe seen and 25 mins to see a dr which he was very thorough And treated me like a human being very reassuring with his diganois blood test all done results back in 45 mins thank you to east Surrey

My only disappointment was the 'Experiment' allowing visitors into the wards at any time. I would suggest that this idea be abandoned and a return to acceptable visiting times be re-introduced;for the comfort of Patients within the wards.
