The hospital was very clean. Top standard in everything. Introduced to my room by a very nice lady explained all facilities. Top standard from nurses hygiene procedures all ways followed and superb care. Nothing to much trouble at any time. Wonderful people including the cleaner to the pantry ladies who bought the food. Very lucky to have the opportunity to use this hospital

A wonderful hospital. Essentially very efficient in all respects and such friendly and accommodating staff even at their busiest times. The hospital is scrupulously clean. the food is not the best and that is my only complaint but as I was only in for 3 days and frankly 36 hours of that I was not really wanting food, I can't really complain but if I was hospitalised for a longer period of time I may have to arrange for a food delivery! Sorry Duchy, I know you try your best.
The main thing is that the care and treatment is nothing short of outstanding.

I received excellent care at the Duchy hospital. All staff at all levels were incredible....their attitudes and personal care to the individual patient is of a high standard. I would highly recommend this hospital. Extremely clean and a fully caring environment.

I was most impressed with the quality of care I received, in every respect, during my two stays at the Duchy, a year apart. I cannot fault my experience as a patient on either occasion in any way. This sounds rather an exaggerated appraisal but it is truly what I felt.
