the staff was very helpful and friendly. I wouldnt improve anything I was happy with the care I got.
friendly, helpful, supportive midwives. lots of re assurance given by Debbie Hilton,
-The only thing I would like to see is more of you.
lots of helpful advice and support. very friendly and helpful.
Attentive care on delivery suite, however could have acted sooner to speed up labour and regulate contractions which kept tailing off despite being on hormone drip. Midwife seemed too cautious to increase drip to a level which would have aided natural delivery.
Care on ward post delivery ok. Too much pressure to breastfeed despite baby not latching on, support was provided in terms of technique but baby not interested in feeding. When deciding to bottle feed my decision seemed to be questioned.
Support from community midwives once discharged from hospital was great, other techniques to breastfeed (which midwives on ward didn't promote once home) were discussed and when I decided to exclusively bottle feed my decision was supported rather than questioned.
The yellow team midwives were really good before and after I had my little girl. The care I received was of a high standard and very friendly. They were always on the end of the phone If I needed anything. The only thng I would have liked was before having my little girl I had seen 5 different midwives at my appointments at the doctors surgery and would have liked to have seen the same one or 2 so they would have been more consistent. But overall the care was great and of Avery high standard.
Community midwives ensure you are happy & coping well, will go the extra mile to make sure you have all information you need & help with any problems that have / may arise.
It was reassuring to have a professional visit me in my home so I could ask questions ad know I was doing things right.
Visiting midwives were helpful and friendly. I benefited from having them see me breastfeed and offer me advice.
good advice/help for baby and me after having c-section.

All staff were very helpful & friendly
