Review of Community Midwives Antenatal

The care which I have received so far has been excellent and I cannot fault anyone that has been involved in my care. I do however feel more information and discussion on where to have baby is needed.

I felt that all the midwives I saw were efficient and gave clean information. The only thing which was a little unclear was how to contact them, the process that they need to be beeped wasnt really explained.

All the midwife care has been excellent. I have used the out of hours clinic - Red team, each midwife I have spoken to or had an appointment with has been very welcoming and made me feel at ease. Thank you!

During my pregnancy I have seen many different midwifes. Each time having to explain concerns and worries. It would have been better to have had one midwife assigned to me - who could also inform me of any changes etc that perhaps I wasn't aware of.

I recently underwent surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn (Appendectomy) and whilst one reads regularly criticisms of our hospital services, I have to say that I found the care I received to be first class. The consultants, Mr Redwood and Mr.Zacchary were excellent and all the support staff, from theatre to ward nurses could not have been more professional. I had never undergone surgery before and left the hospital feeling very confident that those looking after me were hugely competent. The consultants were especially helpful in explaining what I was suffering from and the process they were adopting to remedy the problem. I also wanted to express my gratitude in how approachable I found the consultants when I sought advice etc. Mr.Redwood's Secretary was also extremely helpful. My sincere thanks to all concerned, Cynthia Reeve
