I have been receiving counselling for a long period of time now and having a counsellor that I could relate with was a big relief. I can’t speak highly of my counsellor she has seen me through so many emotions ,pain as well as dealing with my mental health.
I have to say one of the best I’ve come across, so thank you for providing a service with people who care.
My Therapist was very kind and understanding and took the time to explain everything
And helped me a lot I am very grateful and lucky that I had the opportunity to have

I can’t credit Susan (Sue) enough for her endless support and for listening and caring enough to actually make me feel as though someone wanted to help and was rooting for me. She is a fantastic worker and definitely the best mental health worker I have come across. This service should feel lucky to have her working for them.
Jade has also been fabulous in the little time I spent with her. She’s always been kind and approachable and again is another asset to the service and definitely one of the better mental health workers I have seen.
On the other hand there have been some negative experiences with workers and I think it just needs to be taken into account more how serious crisis is for people and more things that can be suggested to help rather than just ‘meditation and thinking positively’ when feeling in crisis. Some of the workers have lacked in their knowledge and providing care and dignity to patients which wasn’t the best experience to be faced with but this time I am happy with majority of the care I have received through Susan.
Absolutely amazing care from a dedicated, wonderful team. We feel completely supported in our scary new Type 1 world. I can't imagine (and don't want to imagine!) trying to navigate Type 1 without their help and support. I cannot praise them enough.

I’ve had a massive problem with the other areas where I am mean’t to go and get help. Jenny from the mental health a&e team in particular has been brilliant as was the man on triage. It was good to have this after feeling let down by other areas of the mental health departments elsewhere.
(Written by my partner for me)
The course was very good, great communication
The book is very helpful and has given me good information and guidance
Both Catherine and Alex were very clear and friendly
It has been a good education for me
I am very confident I can now make the changes to improve my health
