I was in a poorly way, I reached out for help and I am so glad I did. James treated me with compassion and kindness. He gave me helpful advice and I felt I was able to trust him which doesn't come easily. He guided me to a point where I now feel better than I can ever remember. I don't think one ever felt relaxed in the past. I'm able to sleep. His knowledge and advice had improved my quality of life far better than I can ever remember or expected.

They listened to the issues I had and informed me of the medications and what they were and how they worked. They were empathetic and kind and I felt really supported throughout the entire situation.

I believe that I need to answer as truthfully as I possibly can

I did wait a considerable amount of time for my therapy and had actually been unable to function day to day for over 8 months before I was able to have help. I feel timely therapy is very important and significant investment into mental health is needed.

I suffer with Bronchitis now and again, especially after a cold.

Maybe a 6 monthly check by phone to assess the patients health.

The pain team are wonderful people, both the clinical staff and admin team. Charlotte and Britt have helped me on a number of occasions to reschedule my appointments, and have been very understanding and kind. Dr Dan and Debbie gave great explanations about my injections and this care was arranged seamlessly with Harlow hospital. Debbie, Kasia and Lisa have also given me great medication advice, exercise advice and general pain management education. I really could not more highly recommend this service, which means too that their manager Maggie, who I did not get to meet, is doing a super job too. My thanks and best wishes to them all.

With my mental health illnesses I find it hard to get one to one therapy when I really need it. Ever since I was abused as a child I have needed support but still to this day I am still not receiving support that I need.

I was told back in early 2021 that I would have a duty/care worker within six months but I still haven't been allocated one. Also feel that the psychiatrists could check on patients instead of speaking to them once and then having to wait ages for another appointment when I desperately need one.
