A better understanding of whether/which delays in waiting for scans/ treatments etc might or might not affect the outcome. Not knowing causes extra worrying. Nevertheless, THANK YOU so much for everything.

Facet joint disease in spine. Arthritis.

I had to wait 9 months to be offered counselling. I could have jumped in front of that bus a million times in that time period and I had already been assessed. This is not acceptable. If you cannot offer a quicker service to those deemed to really need it, your service is not working. I was annoyed that the NHS discharge letter started with "Thank you for letting us know that you no longer require therapy". This is wholly inaccurate. As I said when contacted, I have had to seek it privately as I simply could not wait 9 months!

The care I have been receiving from the home group team has been outstanding, they are there for me whenever I need to speak to them, they are friendly, supportive but most of all they listen, they care about how you feel and they don’t judge.

My therapist gave me hope and treated me with care and respect and where I've had such bad experiences with eput/mental health in Southend it meant a lot. We went over a lot, I know I still will need help in the future but this therapist made things feel more achievable and made me feel like I am important....unlike I felt before I started. Like someone was actually in my corner, and did everything she said she would.

I know it's not realistic but having long term help...I know 20 sessions is a good amount but where I have so many facets of issues as many of us do it would be more realistic for longer term help. I'm aware you can re refer but it is a long process to wait.
