New Consultant I have never met before. Mine of many years is sadly leaving shortly, but my new Consultant is also very nice. He explained alot of things for me in a clear and easy to understand way. He didn't rush me and I was left feeling happy I was still in good, experienced and knowledgeable hands. The follow up letter to my GP (copy to me) was very thorough and sent quickly following my visit.

Just a quicker time from referral to appointment would be nice, if possible, considering the other things that were going on with me as well. But I understand they are very busy. I believe the initial referral from a locum GP could have been better perhaps. I know everything is referred directly through IPASS triage so I was initially offered an appointment as the 'first stop' one (I can't remember the name), when I had specifically said I needed to see my Consultant (as previously discussed with him), and not be triaged. This would have saved us all time because I had to go back to IPASS triage, explain everything. They cancelled the appointment and put me back in the queue for the Consultant.

The doctors are very nice but look its taking forever for doctors to get things done, ive been living in a 3rd world country for 20 years and everything moves 10 times faster there. Blood tests done that day You see a specialest fast fast if thers a problem, On the other hand emergancy units are outstanding hear i wish the hole health care was run this way.

Mental health can be a torture keeping someone waiting 6mths for a face to face is a long time, I find phone calls and vidio calls about my problems unhelpfull.
