"I just wanted to let you know that you may have just saved my life. After yesterday's visit to ACU at Wexham, I do indeed have DVT in my right arm and thrombocytopenia as well. I just wanted to say thank you, I'm very grateful you recognised that my arm was swollen. I'm now having treatment for this and my PICC line removed so will need to cancel my appointment with you on Tuesday. I am forever grateful and I will never forget you, you are the most professional and knowledgeable nurse I have come across."

[name removed], was patient, calm, listened and put me at ease. She answered all of my questions and clearly understood the embarrassing, difficult time I've had with my incontinence. I really felt listened to and was given positive solutions. Thank you [name removed]. My appointment was on time and fully accessible.

I was very happy and content with the service I received today. The only thing that can be improved is the waiting time. However, this is not the fault of the hospital or staff, this is very much a political decision taken by the current government.

Some of the nurses are quick, they don’t stay to talk to me.

Was treated with respected, felt very listened to and supported throughout my time with the adult community mental health team. The tools, reading materials, visual supports and methods to assist in my treatment were all of benefit. I have to say my therapist was wonderful, very kind and patient and extremely supportive.

Whilst I appreciate there are so many waiting for your services, to be advised that you have reached your allocated sessions and that's it is not the best. If you do not have the funds to support your ongoing therapy then believe you could end up going backwards in your progress. Felt very impersonal - like here's the number of sessions and if you are not ok then sorry.
