I would greatly benefit from longer physio support which was just 4 weeks. Just because a patient is physically more able when comapred to another patient, I am still way way off from how active I was or where I could be with support.

I couldn’t of gotten through the past months without the support from my therapist. He Helped me to put Things into perspective and Gave me coping Mechanisms . I am now back at work on a phased return, not going to pretend it’s easy but I am taking one day at a time

The health visiting team I have met are always so helpful and kind, while being highly knowledgeable and effortlessly efficient. Always greeted with smiles and nothing is ever a silly question!

It takes me a while to trust anyone new to me , and [name removed] put me straight at ease and we can laugh together.

The session didn’t go quite to plan as the link between us failed and we couldn’t hear and ended with us using our phones to speak and screen to see . This seems to be quite an occurrence with the link from Teams . When I tried to rejoin it told me my details were incorrect! I had to wait for [name removed] to reconnect us .

I was extremely pleased with all of the doctors and physiotherapists who made me feel at ease and comfortable

Only the waiting time as appointment was at 11.15 so as I arrived at 11am and the only one waiting I wasn’t seen until mid-day

I was very happy with the treatment and advice that I received from the Tissue Viability Nurse

The GP Practise nurses were not trained in dealing with surgical wounds so were unprepared when they saw me. The hospital SAU did not give them much assistance.
