Overall good but it felt like the care staff sometimes didn’t coordinate with each other in the ward, eg asking questions multiple times or not communicating dietary requirements to the catering team.

The pervading atmosphere is one of calm, competent efficiency and Professor Redwood is an absolutely superb consultant. The café is well stocked and well run, offering a good selection, and the restaurant lunch yesterday was excellent. My only negative comment about the Cleveland Clinic is the inadequate three female toilet cubicles on the ground floor. A ‘queue’ is almost inevitable. Not ideal at all. Also the patient waiting area on the first floor is quite small and cramped and rather too warm.
