The atmosphere in the ward, Syon2, was excellent. As a patient, sitting/lying for a long period of time, it was so pleasant and relaxing to see and hear the calm and cheerful voices of the staff, as they went about their work. They were, i'm sure, as busy as usual. I found it really helpful. Thank you.

I was treated on the Private Wing at Chelsea and Westminster hospital and this Wing (Chelsea Wing) is impressively good and if not better than the other purely private hospitals, it is definitely not less in terms of the excellent services it provides. There is a collection of constantly smiling nurses who care exceptionally for you during your stay withnkeenness and promptness led by Sister Evelyn. I had an uneventful laparoscopic hernia repair under the care of Mr Nabil Behar, Consultant General Surgeon which simply led to a very quick recovery from almost a painless procedure and therefore I am very grateful too. General anaesthesia was given by Dr Bernard Norman who again I’m grateful to for the gentle and swift anaesthesia that I had without any postoperative side-effects. Certainly, my further gratitude goes to Mr Paul Goodrich who is the General Manager for the Private Patients Department in the hospital whose efforts in further improving the private care services at Chelsea And Westminster are very noticeably seen. I recommend this excellent private service to anybody seeking treatment in a spotlessly clean hospital with a naturally friendly and caring staff. Well done to the Private Patients Department at Chelsea and Westminster.

I just want to say thank you to help my little boy. I have worked for NHS for many years and witnessed a lot. I understand that NHS is full of people with dedication and compassion but I was amazed by the care and professionalism of everyone in Mercury ward that was shown towards me and my little boy on 24 of October. I am so proud of you and can not thank you enough. Thank you.

Thank you so much to Dr Abela, Dr Lucy Thomas, Dr Louise Fearfield and everyone else in their teams, and to the staff in the Treatment Centre, who have been so fantastic in the last few months. I couldn’t speak more highly of the treatment I received at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital - everyone was so friendly, informative and efficient. Huge thank you from me.

The night staff, especially the nurses have a lot to improve in terms of patient treatment. The night time staff is scarce, more staff is needed. Plus proper supervision of the staff is needed at night time. Surveillance care camera (not sure if it is a workable idea in a hospital environment) may be installed to watch and monitor how night time staff is treating pateints esp elderly patients. I observed some very poor care at the hand of night time staff esp towards elderly. Other than this, this hospital is providng excellent service and care to the community and is a pride for NHS. Thanks

I have been attending for some time following 2 serious injuries that permanently damaged my wrist, and for which the long term prognosis is not good. I am under the care of a team lead by Ms.Bremner-Smith of the hand management unit, and also the hand therapy team. I have been particularly impressed by the overall approach - staff are realistic about not only the prognosis, but the possibilities. I have been told personally by senior staff that the fact there is no 'fix' and no prospect of one makes it all the more important to ensure that the wrist remains as good as possible for as long as possible. Staff on both teams have put this into action, and continue to make every effort in this. They have also been very clear in recommending what I should do (and not do) myself. They are constructive, courteous, and resourceful. ................................................................................................................................................ These people are great assets to the NHS and to patients - they deserve appreciation and respect. Whilst patients are generally limited to expressing our appreciation with words and tokens, it is politicians who have the power to put their money where their mouths are. (As for the so-called nonexistent 'Magic Money Tree' - it's a matter of priorities - which are too commonly political.)

I had a Caesarian section here in June and I was so impressed with how wonderful, caring, professional and just brilliant all the staff were. From my first midwife appointment to the day of the surgery- every single staff member that helped me was just phenomenal and made me feel safe and cared for. Thank you so much!

Consultants would benefit from ethnic sensitivity training and it would greatly improve patient experience.
