Beryl was fantastic, she has a great sense of humor that allows her to build a good rapport with the me, and allows her to even tell me off without it seeming condescending or negative (as some others are likely to be), this make the appointment a lot less stressful than it could be.
I have been a few times on the ward and always had fantastic support from all staff involved in my day/overnight stay.
The care given in ward 16 and castlehill hospital in general are second to none, i couldn't have asked for better from nurses that are on their feet most of their shift.
This hospital provides care of equal or better than private hospitals I have used over the years
The food is of high end restraunts you could make a fortune offering your food for sale to the public
The staff you have here are a credit to thier profession and should not be taken for granted as in many cases they are I have my own business which I appreciate the front line staff to show us at our best fail to look after the workers ultimately means failure, but it appears to be a very happy ship here, what more Can I say but thank you for looking after me so well. I do hope you pass the comments on and not just file them away

Even though I only stayed on ward 8 for 24 hours, the care I received was amazing, both day and night staff were brilliant and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Thank you to all the team on ward 8.
I was on ward 16 at CHH. From my arrival at 07.30hrs to my return from theatre my care was very good and staff were pleasant and helpful.
However, the management of discharge medication and pain relief on the ward could be improved. I was given pain relief in recovery before 13.00. When I was almost ready for discharge I requested some further pain relief (this was about 16.00hrs). I was told that that my medicine chart had gone to pharmacy for my discharge medication (antibiotics and analgesia) to be dispensed and no pain relief could be given without it. This would not have been an issue had there not being a significant delay in returning my chart and TTOs. Despite many enquiries to staff, it was gone 19.00hrs before someone from the pharmacy delivered my TTOs and chart back to the ward. This meant I was in pain for some hours before being given any analgesia and caused significant inconvenience for me and my family including having to make alternative childcare arrangements due to my delayed discharge.
The Physio staff and General nursing staff where great in all they did.
I had a Fluoroscopic Nerve Root Block which was carried out by Dr Gupta and his team. It was my first experience of it and I was extremely nervous. However, I need not have worried. I can honestly say that right from the beginning the nurses and Radiology staff were brilliant: so friendly and welcoming and they really looked after me well. Dr Gupta was a delight: so professional yet friendly and approachable - I could not have asked for better care.
Both the Gentleman and Lady looking after me, you could not fault them.
It's a long time since a teenage lady grabbed hold of me, when i had a little wobble. ha ha.
Thanks to them all.
The service I recieved was fantastic, everyone I came into contact with were absolutely brilliant. The level of my care was 100%
